Meet the Councillors .....

My wife and I moved to Swafield in 2013 after farming a smallholding in 
Bacton for 50 years.  My interests include gardening, country pursuits and 
messing about on the Broads.

I live in Swafield with my wife and am a retired tractor
driver.  I have been Captain of Swafield speedway and
Canon teams.  I now help maintain the village green.

I live just into North Walsham with my wife Rachel and children
Sam and Sophie.  I farm in Swafield with my family.  I have
been a Parish Councillor for Swafield and Bradfield for four years
but was a Paston Parish Councillor for ten years when I lived there.

I was born at 9 Trunch Road, Swafield on 6th December 1943.
Educated at Paston Grammar School, North Walsham.
I am a retired vegetable processor and haulier.  My business life
was based in Swafield.  The business continues in Swafield,
North Walsham and Great Yarmouth and is now owned and operated
by my son Matthew Jon Starling.  I have been a Parish Councillor for 
twenty years and a committee member of Swafield Village Hall Charity for approximately twenty years.
